This #oilbytes video shows you how simple it is to refresh some of those stinky cloth diapers with an essential oils and baking soda soak. This also works well for other stinky stuff like clothes you left in the washer too long or old towels (think summer beach or pool towels that have sat in the back of the car too long).
Simply fill a container with water, add baking soda, lemon oil, lavender oil and peppermint oil. For this video I used this recipe:
- 2 gallons of water
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 10 drops each of lemon, lavender and peppermint oil
Hang items to dry in the sun for additional natural cleansing, unless you need to protect the colors in the fabric.
