I saw something like this on Pinterest and decided to try my own twist on it. We usually never allow marshmallows in our house because they always have high fructose corn syrup as the main ingredient. But NOW I can make any recipe with marshmallows because I’ve mastered my homemade marshmallow recipe!
The recipe is pretty self-explanatory. String strawberries, blueberries and marshmallows on wooden kebabs and toast over a campfire. (I made these at home with a kitchen torch, actually. It’s always fun to find a way to use the kitchen torch.)
Keep the kebabs far from the fire to slowly roast and caramelize both the marshmallows and fruit. If you roast too close you get burnt marshmallows and not-hot fruit. Eat on the stick or use a fork to pull everything off the kebab then top with shavings of dark chocolate. OMGoodness…heaven for me!
